Keswick Guided Walks

If you are new to the mountains and want to be able to go walking and scrambling safely, independently and in tune with the environment, or are looking to polish your existing skills, Steve will be pleased to support you.  He can offer map and compass navigation training and practice day and night, summer and winter.  He also provides advice on suitable equipment and its use; guidance on mountain weather; winter skills training with axe and crampons, as well as advice and guidance on sustainable wild camping which leaves no trace of your presence and causes no damage to the environment.  If you are more interested in using the hills for physical training and fitness Steve will be happy to support you and can help with route choice, activity and training plans.

Cost £300 per day, per group of up to six* people maximum.
Half days may be available*, generally 8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm.
(*depending on activity and environment requested)
Dates By arrangement at any mutually convenient time.
Important information You will need suitable clothing, footwear, food, drink, compass, map and a rucksack.
Steve will be able to advise you and can provide laminated maps for your use if needed.
